How to Introduce Two People in English Without Making It Awkward

Would you like me to introduce you?
Would you like me to introduce you?¿Te gustaría que te presentara?

You meet someone who has exactly the skills your friend needs. You want to introduce them, but you do not want to make either person uncomfortable. A good introduction is more than saying two names: first ask permission, explain the connection, then let them choose whether to continue.

The Big Idea

Make introductions with consent. A short explanation helps two people understand why they might enjoy meeting, but neither person owes the other a conversation or a project.
